2026 Annual Flu Shot Clinic ** Registration Opens Sept. 1st at 9 a.m.** The Skokie Health and Human Services Department (SHHS) will host two free flu shot clinics for SKOKIE RESIDENTS AGES 4 AND OLDER. These clinics are an opportunity to protect yourself and your family from respiratory illness. Vaccination remains one of the most effective ways to prevent flu and reduce the severity of flu infections. Clinic Dates and Times Thursday, October 8th, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. & Thursday, October 15th, 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. Location: Oakton Park Community Center 4701 Oakton St. Skokie, IL 60077 PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE REGISTERING 1. Flu Shots Are Free: No out-of-pocket cost for the flu vaccine, regardless of insurance status. SHHS will bill Medicare and private insurance when applicable. You will not be charged for any remaining balance. 2. High-Dose Vaccine Available: A high-dose vaccine will be available for individuals age 65 and older. This vaccine is specifically formulated to provide additional protection for older adults. 3. What to Bring: Please bring the following: * Photo ID to verify residency *Medicare-card (if applicable) * Private Health insurance card (if applicable) 4. How to Book an Appointment: To book appointment, head to the APPOINTMENT LOCATOR section (below). 1. SELECT SERVICE 2. SELECT CLINIC 3. SELECT AVAILABLE DATE from the calendar. 4. CHOOSE an available appointment time. **Please note: You must schedule a separate appointment for each person receiving a flu shot EARLY ARRIVAL IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
