What should I wear?
For traditional graduation poses, gentlemen are required to bring a collared shirt and tie. (We suggest light shirts and dark ties for the most classic look) Ladies have the choice of either bringing a collared shirt or going with an open neckline. If you choose to go with an open neckline for your graduation poses please wear a scoop neck shirt that will not show under the neckline of the graduation gown.

Casual portraits are also taken so please bring outfits and items that reflect your interests and personality. Some sessions include full length poses so coordinate your outfit from head to toe.

What about glasses?
Glasses sometimes cause distortions, reflections, and elimination of detail in the eye area of your portraits. We recommend that a pair of empty frames be borrowed from an optician, or have the lenses removed from your own glasses. This is a much more natural look.

What about my appearance?
Prepare yourself (hair, make-up, close shave, good night's sleep) so you can achieve the exact look you want for your finished portraits. Remember that the hairstyle your friends and family see you with everyday will probably bring you satisfaction in your photographs.

What can I expect at my photo session?

We will provide a variety of backgrounds and poses to ensure an ample selection of proofs to order from. Expect some poses to feel a little awkward, but trust your photographer to know what looks best in a finished portrait.
