If any of the following situations apply to you, please call our office at 636-922-8241 to schedule an appointment:

  • MEP scores: Please submit scores to your advisor 3 business days prior to your appointment.

  • Suspension appeal (or contact Jennifer at jlansdowne@stchas.edu)

  • Currrently enrolled student in need of career counseling or job search assistance

  • U.S. Veterans (checklist or email Andrew at agates@stchas.edu)

     

If you are a prospective RN student please attend an RN information session.  Register at www.stchas.edu/rninfo.

 *****First Time Freshman*****

You must have completed your Academic Skills Assessment or have ACT scores within the last three years.

  • Please remember to come prepared.  Academic advising is the student's responsibility too.  It is recommended that you completed What's Next prior to your appointment.

  • Bring any necessary materials to your advising appointment such as registration forms, transfer information, a list of questions, etc. This will help ensure efficiency of advising sessions.

  • Appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes and are scheduled back-to-back; please be considerate of other students' appointments.

  • If you have additional questions about being prepared after making your appointment please email your advisor through your appointment confirmation email.

  *****New to SCC and a Transfer Student*****

  •  Please bring unofficial transcripts with you so we can review your previous coursework. (Must have official transcript sent if applying for financial aid)

  • If you took math or English at another school, it is possible that we can use those credits for placement in courses at SCC.

  • As a new student, you may take the assessment tests if you would like to ensure that you have placement scores the day of registration.
