Here are a couple of IMPORTANT reminders before you schedule your free tax preparation appointment:

Interpretation for most languages will be available using video or phone interpretation services.

If any of the following is true for you, you may be out of scope and we may be unable to serve you. Please contact our team at [email protected] or call 614-938-3800 with questions regarding the below situations so we can evaluate how we can best serve you:

If your household income for 2025 was above $69,000.
If you earned income in 2025 from self employment and had a net loss for your self-employment (i.e. expenses exceeded income)
If you received rental income in 2025
If you had forgiven or cancelled debt in 2025 for anything other than non-business credit card debt

Scheuling multiple years of returns requires multiple appointment slots:

You must schedule 1 appointment per year you need completed. If you have two years of returns, you NEED to schedule 2 appointment slots. Schedule your first appointment, then return in the system and schedule a second appointment for the same site at the following hour slot available. For example, you can schedule a 9am and 10am appiontment to complete a 2024 and 2025 return. Sites only have capacity to complete 1 year of returns per hour and you cannot expect them to complete multiple years in a 1 hour appointment unless agreed upon by the site ahead of time.

Appointment Availability:
If you do not see any appoitments available, that means we have filled all available appointments.

Lastly, please opt into email AND text reminders if possible. Those opting into email reminders will get document attachments for what to bring to your appointment and a copy of the intake form which needs to be filled out before your appointment or upon arrival. Text message reminders will only include text and no attachments.
