PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO DOME THEATER CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY FROM MAY 2026 THROUGH AUGUST 2026, OUR MAXIMUM GROUP CAPACITY IS 30 PARTICIPANTS DURING THOSE MONTHS. It is possible that our entire facility will be completely closed for further renovation starting in September, so if you are looking at booking for the Fall, please contact us before making your resevation: [email protected]
Important reservation policy update! For any non-school district reservation, a $75 group deposit fee is now required to be paid within five business days of making your reservation. Please go to this link to make payment, which covers the first 15 participants in your group. This is the minimum fee for any field trip group. If you have a group larger than 15 participants, the remainder can be paid when you arrive at the Planetarium: https://339852.myshopify.com/products/group-deposit-fee

We are located north of Lawlor Events Center on Virginia Street, on the University of Nevada, Reno campus, 1.5 miles north of the downtown Reno arch. Free PERMIT parking is available in the West Stadium Parking Complex, level 3, just east of the planetarium (turn from Virginia Street onto 16th Street). Park between designated planetarium parking signs in designated spaces. The Planetarium has six spots dedicated to visitor parking. Once the six parking spaces are filled, any remaining chaperone vehicles will need to park on the top level of the West Stadium Parking Complex and pay for their parking spot using the app indicated at visitor parking spaces or the kiosk located by the elevator on the top floor.
