Spring 2019 First Year Orientation

New, incoming freshmen are required to attend First Year Orientation at Bluegrass Community and Technical College. Actively participating in First Year Orientation enables students to successfully navigate the college experience. Orientation sessions provide students with information on topics such as programs of study, college services, student activities, financial aid and billing.

On the left, select your preferred campus.

LEXINGTON CAMPUSES:  All in-person Lexington orientations for Spring 2019 are at the Newtown Campus.   

REGIONAL CAMPUSES (Danville, Georgetown, Lawrenceburg, Winchester):  In-person orientations for Spring at Regional Campuses are offered at Danville and Lawrenceburg only. 

Winchester and Georgetown students are free to attend orientation at another campus or need to complete online: First Year Online Orientation.

You are encouraged to schedule classes before your orientation date.  Limited advising for scheduling classes will be available at Lexington and Lawrenceburg immediately after orientation, IF students have test scores on file with BCTC.  Students without test scores will need to return another day to take a placement test and be advised for classes.
