Welcome! The 2027 LIHEAP program year will open, October 1st with the following priority households, with the income guidelines below. October apppointment requests will require a call to the LIHEAP appointment line -815-308-6057. Leave your name and phone number, and we will return your call, in the order received. Please allow 3-4 weeks for a return call. There is a very large group of households that fit the priority period and we will not be able to accomodate all households in October.  The priority households for October appointments are:

Households with members 60 and older
Households with a member that receives disability 
Households with children age 5 and under
Households that have a disconnection notice that is current -If you have a current disconnection notice, please call 815-338-7752. You will be required to upload or email it, along with your phone number and then a staff member will call to schedule your telephone appointment

For households that do not fit the priority period, you can schedule your appointment here after November 1st.
