All appointments will be over the phone. We will call you from an 815-308 phone number at your appointment time. Please be sure to answer your phone.
For the 2024 program year, households and individuals who have gross incomes that are less than the following maximums, for the last thirty days, may apply for LIHEAP.

Applicants must have the following documentation with them during their phone appointment:

1. Proof of all gross income for all household members over the age of 18, for the 30 days prior to the day of and including their appointment date (includes, but is not limited to: paycheck stubs, Social Security income, Unemployment, SSI, TANF, General Assistance from Township, pension, child support)

2. Current Utility Bills -gas, electric, fuel oil, propane

3. Social Security Cards for all household members

Note: Depending on circumstances, other documentation may be required

If you qualify, then you may continue on to make an appointment. Please allow 30-45 minutes, depending on your family size, for your telephone appointment.
