AMT is pleased to offer MSF Motorcycle Safety Classes

  available at the following location:

Philadelphia - Bartram Ave Training Center

We are excited to have you in our Motorcycle Safety Classes!  Please be ready to show your valid class M permit or license upon arrival to class.

Please note that you must bring your own gear to class - this includes helmets!

Face masks are required in the classroom.

Classes run rain or shine - we can't wait to see you there!

Classes open for registration 60 days before the class start date.
The next date you may sign up for a Basic Rider class is:
Tuesday, March 16, 2021 (May 15/16 class)

These courses are FREE for Pennsylvania residents.  Non-Pennsylvania residents may still take training with the following course tuition fees:

Basic RiderCourse (BRC): $250
Experienced RiderCourse (BRC2): $150
Advanced RiderCourse (ARC): $150
3-Wheel Basic RiderCourse (3WBRC): $200

Please note that ALL Pennsylvania providers are unable to license out-of-state students.  Only your home state can issue you a motorcycle license!  Completion of a safety course as an out-of-state student will not be recognized for license waiver in your home state.

Welcome to our online class registration system.  Please use the links on the left to register for one of the following courses:

LEARN TO RIDE:

  • Basic RiderCourse (BRC): a 2-day class for new riders consisting of 5 hours of classroom activities and 10 hours of riding instruction.  Motorcycles are provided for your use.  Successful completion will earn you a motorcycle license.  You must obtain your valid class M permit (or motorcycle license, if you already have it) prior to registering for class.  Be sure to bring your documents to class with you.  To obtain a PA Motorcycle Permit, visit the Pennsylvania DMV website.


Future BRC classes:
5/15/21 - 5/16/21: Opens for registration 3/16/21
6/5/21 - 6/6/21: Opens for registration 4/6/21
6/12/21 - 6/13/21: Opens for registration 4/13/21
6/26/21 - 6/27/21 Opens for registration 4/27/21

  • 3-Wheel Basic RiderCourse (3WBRC): a 2-day class for riders on 3-wheel motorcycles, whether the two wheels are in the back or the front. You are required to bring your own 3-wheel motorcycle. Please note: sidecars are prohibited in this course. Valid registration and proof of insurance are required. You must posess a valid class M Permit or license prior to registering for the class. Be sure to bring you documnets to class with you. To obtain a PA Motorcycle Permit, visit the Pennsylvania DMV website.

 

License Waiver:

  •  Basic RiderCourse 2 - License Waiver (BRC2): a 1-day class for experienced riders including an informal classroom component and riding instruction.  You are required to bring your own motorcycle.  Valid registration and proof of insurance are required.  Successful completion will earn you a motorcycle license.  You must posess a valid class M permit or license prior to registering for class.  Be sure to bring your documents to class with you.  To obtain a PA Motorcycle Permit, visit the Pennsylvania DMV website.

Future BRC2 classes:

Improve Your Skills:

  • Advanced RiderCourse (ARC): a 1-day advanced training course designed to take your skills to the next level.  This course is beneficial for riders on any type of street motorcycle.  You are required to bring your own motorcycle.  Valid registration and proof of insurance are required.  You must possess a valid class M license prior to registering for class.  Be sure to bring your documents to class with you.  To obtain a PA Motorycle License, check out the BRC or BRC2 classes (descriptions above).

Future ARC classes:
6/19/21: Opens for registration 4/20/21

Due to COVID-19, we are unable to lend any protective gear at this time, including helmets.

You are required to bring your own DOT-approved helmet, eye protection, full-fingered gloves, long sleeve shirt or jacket, over-the-ankle footwear, and long pants made of denim or some other sturdy material free of rips or holes.
