Thank you for your interest in participating in our mental health resource programs. The following are important points to keep in mind as you schedule an appointment:
Our service is NOT an emergency hotline. If you are experiencing a physical or mental health emergency, call 911 right away and get immediate help.
If you are in a crisis, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-TALK (8255). If you are in immediate medical crisis, please call 911.
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner students and faculty provide mental health screening and referral services and support group services ONLY.Providers do not prescribe medications as a result of the visits; medical referrals will be made for clients who are in need of medication management who do not currently have a provider.
Use of our online scheduling program indicates that you give consent for our services and agree to participate in the screening, counseling or group services. You may withdraw from services at any time.We also reserve the right to refuse services at our sole discretion.
There is no charge for services provided through this website. We are not responsible for any charges incurred if you choose to seek care at providers or services outside this website as a result of a referral from this site.
I understand when making an appointment, I am voluntarily giving my permission to the PMHNP students from UT Tyler to provide mental health screening and referrals for me during this appointment only.
