Kiln Forming 1 Fusing and Slumping-4 Wk Tue Eve ($300)
This four-week class in an excellent overview to the world of kiln formed glass. Kiln forming is a process by which glass is assembled, put into a kiln, and heated in a controlled manner to achieve a wide range of effects. There will be discussions about kiln forming theory, color theory, design and pattern. You will learn how to cut straight lines, curves, and circles. The exercises will cover full fuse, tack fusing, and slumping. You will have many study pieces and two finished pieces, which will bring the techniques you learned together. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

Fused Glass Study Group
Bring your own personal projects or ideas to this come-as-you-can fusing class. An instructor will be present for the entire three hour session. This is a great opportunity to learn more kilns, tools, and techniques, and to get feedback on things you've been working on. Scrap glass and cutting materials included, but your welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Additional costs for sheet glass and/or firings may apply. Some experience required
