Fused Glass Pendants 2h Saturday ($85) Date(s)
This class will introduce you to the basic principals behind forming glass in the kiln to create beautiful fused glass pendants. You will be introduced to all of the tools, basic glass cutting and kiln forming theory. When these one of a kind pieces come out of the kiln a Diablo staff member will attach a sterling silver bail by which to hang your pieces. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

Glass paperweights $175
The glass paperweight is the first step for anyone interested in working with hot glass. This introductory class guides the first time glass artist through the most crucial skills. First you will gather glass from the furnace, learn to shape and control, and how to apply color to the glass. In a fun and informative manner our instructors will introduce you to tools, safety and basic glass theory. Every student will leave with a gorgeous paperweight and a strong foundation for future exploration. No experience necessary. All materials included.

Glass Blowing 101(2 Day) (9:00 a.m.) $325
This two day introduction to glass blowing will guide the first time student and students looking to brush-up on their skills, through the fundamentals of creating glass from the furnace, vocabulary, tools, and safety. You will start with Diablo�s core exercises: the paperweight. Then the class will be introduced to the blown bubble through a series of demos and hands on exercises. You will then apply the color and blowing techniques learned to create your own colorful drinking glass.

Flame working 101: Boro (1 Day) $150
This hands-on flame working course covers the basics of shaping colorful glass in the flame of a stationary propane/oxygen torch. There will be a discussion of studio set-up and safety, followed by periodic demonstrations and plenty of practice time. Throughout the day, we will create glass pendants and marbles.

Flame Working: Pendants ($150)
Using Borosilicate glass, students will learn to shape and mold a variety of objects, including flowers, at a stationary bench torch. Sculptures will then be cased in clear glass to produce a pendant. The instructor will demonstrate techniques and then assist as each student works.

Flameworking 101 Boro (2 Days)-$300
This hands-on flame-working course covers the basics of creating glass objects in the flame of a stationary propane/oxygen torch and progresses into methods of decoration. After a discussion of studio set-up and safety, demonstrations will introduce students to the use of heat and gravity to shape molten glass. Demonstrations will alternate with working time. Techniques for applying color and manipulating the form will be practiced. No experience necessary. Return students welcome. All materials included.

Stained Glass 101 (2 Days) ($345)
During this 2 day weekend workshop, students will learn the basic skills of stained glass. Instructors will start by teaching students to cut and gring glass. Then, using the American Tiffany copper foil technique, students will prepare their objects to be assembled. The final step is to solder the pieces together to create sun-catchers, window panels or ornaments. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
