Please use the drop down box to select the type of session and staff member you would like to meet with. Please click on an open day and time on the calendar to identify available meetings. For a brief description of each type of session, please click here. If you have any questions about the student conduct process, please view our website at www.sandiego.edu/conduct or call us at 619-260-4590. Students have the option of scheduling either an administrative hearing or an acceptance of responsibility meeting. An acceptance of responsibility meeting serves as a formal step in the student conduct process, during which the student takes full responsibility for all alleged conduct violations. By opting in to this meeting type, the student affirms their understanding of the allegations as well as a willingness to engage in a conversation focused on next steps for learning, accountability, and personal development. Participation in this meeting signifies the student’s active engagement in a restorative process and their commitment to addressing harm through intentional learning and community-centered outcomes. An administrative hearing includes further inquiry and conversation about the incident, including what happened from the student’s perspective. This process culminates in a decision about whether or not the student is found responsible for each alleged violation. Students who select an acceptance of responsibility meeting and are not able or willing to take responsibility for all alleged violations will be asked to reschedule their meeting for another time as an administrative hearing. |
