Financial Educator
All volunteers must be IRS-certified annually through a series of FREE classroom training sessions or self-paced online study to provide taxpayers with the highest level of service. Students who volunteer should include their VITA volunteer experience in their resume and portfolio of experience. A letter of recommendation can be provided upon request and successfully fulfilling the volunteer requirement. Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of 40 hours from January – May.
