Party Policies, Inclusions, and Upgrades:

  1. All birthday parties include exclusive use of the birthday party room.
  2. The birthday party specialist and reservation are not accessible until your reservation time, NO EARLIER.
  3. All birthday disposables including plates, napkins, cups, utensils, paper towels, candles, and cake knife.
  4. You will be given two guardian wristbands and one birthday child wristband, in addition to the 30-guest limit.
  5. As part of your birthday party celebration, you are given 30 wrist bands, which will allow your 30 guests admission into the museum exhibit space during the first hour or forty-five minutes of your party.  The birthday party price includes a maximum of 21 children per birthday party, with a maximum room capacity of 30 guests. It is museum policy to have a ratio of 1 parent for every 5 children. Please factor this into your invitation list.  
  6. Regardless of the guests’ membership status, both adults and children are counted towards the 30-person room total.
  7. If you plan to have more than 30 guests please review the upgrade option: “The More the Merrier,” which buys 10 additional guests for a total of 40 guests adding an additional outdoor space for an additional $150.
  8. You will uphold the responsibility for all guests of your party.  If a guardian of the child is not present, you are the responsible party.
  9. All parties must be booked one week in advance.
  10. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking and must be paid in full at the close of your party.
  11. No refunds for the remaining balance will be issued the week of the birthday reservation. You may bring your own birthday cake or order a cake from the museum.
  12. If you would like to order a cake through Knock Knock, it must be ordered online and confirmed through our Birthday Party Specialist via phone or email by Wednesday prior to your reservation.
  13. The following decorative items are prohibited: helium balloons, glitter, confetti, tape on walls or windows for banners.
  14. No smoking, nor alcohol is allowed on the property during museum hours including all birthday party reservations.
  15. All of your belongings and those of your guests must vacate the birthday room at noted end time. Knock Knock Children’s Museum is not responsible to escort or ensure any birthday party guests to appropriate guardians for pick up.
  16. The host family will be monetarily responsible for any items broken or damaged in the process of the birthday party.
  17. All upgrades are optional. When selecting your upgrade(s) on this form, your total due today will reflect the 50% non-refundable birthday party charge (plus tax) AND the full total of the upgrades you have selected.   You will owe your remaining birthday party balance and any accrued upgrade charges at the close of your birthday party:  

ADD-ON UPGRADE SERVICES:

  1. THE MORE THE MERRIER: For $150, you may invite 10 more guests, and we will open the birthday room rolling door which will provide for an indoor/outdoor birthday experience. Each additional guest over the allotted 10 provided in “The More the Merrier” package will result in a fee of $15 person.  
  2. SNACK ATTACK: For $50, you may bring additional food into the birthday room.  Any additional food other than a birthday cake and ice cream cups will accrue the $50 additional food charge.  You may not bring red or blue drinks, or food with additional food coloring.  We will provide additional disposables when this option is added to your selected birthday package.  
  3. LET THEM EAT CAKE! … And Ice cream! A Knock Knock Children’s Museum exclusive boutique bakery confection and individual ice cream cups are available for delivery to your scheduled Knock Knock birthday party.  Choose between a rich, chocolatey smooth cake or an almond flavored “wedding” cake beauty with Knock Knock colored birthday sprinkles and icing drizzles as well as option to read Happy Knock Knock Birthday “Your Child’s Name.” Let us make your birthday party memorable and manageable for you by “taking the cake” for you!  
    • Regular Size Knock Knock Birthday Cake: $35 serves 30 guests. (chocolate or almond wedding cake with white buttercream icing)  
    • Large Size Knock Knock Birthday Cake: $45 serves up to 40 guests. (chocolate or almond wedding cake with white buttercream icing)  
    • 12 Vanilla Ice cream CUPS: $12 12 Chocolate Ice cream CUPS: $12

All upgrades are optional.  When selecting your upgrade(s) on this form, your total due today will reflect the 50% non-refundable birthday party charge AND the total of the upgrades you have selected.  You will owe your remaining birthday party balance (plus tax) and any accrued upgrade charges (plus tax) during the duration of the party which will be due in full at the close of your birthday party.
