The TABE test is a required test for students seeking admission into the Marchman Technical College GED program and all MTC Career Certificate Programs.  The TABE test is also offered to the general public who need this test for other organizations, including Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), and can be taken at the MTC Assessment Center. 

The Post-TABE test  is for current students only.  This test is assigned to you by your teacher and you must bring a slip from your teacher with your assigned test to the assessment center with you when you come to test.  NOTE: During COVID / online learning times, you do not need a slip but you do need an appointment.

The CASAS test is for students looking to enter our ESOL program to learn English.  

If you would like to schedule an ASE Certification Exam, you must first visit the ASE site to schedule and pay for your exam.  Then schedule an appointment to take the exam at the Marchman Technical College Assessment Center.  As you proceed through the booking process you will not need to indicate which test you are taking.  That information is only needed when you scheduled the test on the ASE site. You will, however, need your ASE number to schedule your appointment.
